The giant of software has already unveiled the first Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview — which is now available for download — at Mix11 developer conference in Las Vegas just weeks after the release of IE9, and it seems that IE10 is not going to be a Web browser built from the ground up, but instead it is going to be an incremental work, focus in a continues progress on delivering native support for HTML5, CSS3 and hardware acceleration.
The IE10 team is about three weeks into the project and they are really optimistic on what has been accomplish so far. At the Mix11 conference they also demo the new browsing engine against Google Chrome Web browser using some of the new IE test drives demos while also reveling additional support for CSS3, such us CSS3 Gradients, Grid, Multi-column and Flexible Box Layouts.
