Microsoft is holding a new event on October 2, 2019, in New York City to introduce new Surface devices. The company has already sent out “Save the date” invitations to members of the press, and while, the invitation doesn’t reveal specific details, it’s expected the company to introduce new hardware, including a new Surface with a dual-screen.

According to The Verge, this could be the event for Microsoft to unveil project “Centaurus,” which is a form factor device featuring a dual-screen, and it’s expected to arrive sometime in 2020.

In addition, during the press event, the company is likely to introduce hardware refresh for existing devices. This means that Microsoft could introduce the Surface Pro 7, which is rumored to come with Intel as well as with Qualcomm processors variants.

The company hasn’t introduced a new book laptop in nearly two years, as such a Surface Book 3 running one of the latest Intel 10th Gen processor is likely to be part of the event. In addition, Microsoft could also be introducing the Surface Laptop 3 with hardware upgrades.
