If you have been waiting for a super slim laptop with simple and sleek design running Intel’s Core i7 processor, then the LG Gram laptop is what you have been waiting for. At CES 2016 in Las Vegas, LG introduced to the world the Gram laptop featuring a 15.6-inch display and only 15mm (0.6 inch) thin, and weighing 2.16 pounds helps LG to claim the lightest full-size laptop you will be able to buy in 2016.

While LG has been around building laptops for the past 15 years, it wasn’t until last year that we have seen them in United States. If you remember, the company has already in the market a 13-inch and a 14-inch laptop, and in 2016, LG is introducing the a 15-inch version running Windows 10.

Still under 2.2 pounds, the Gram (15Z960-A.AA75U1) laptop from LG is incredibly light, and the company is able to achieve it thanks to its magnesium alloy casing, which makes it very strong and lightweight. Perhaps one of the best features is the ultra-thin bezel that helps to keep the computer very compact. Essentially, it’s a 15-inch laptop in a 14-inch footprint.

However, eliminating most of the bezel made LG to look and rethink some of the design aspects. For example, even though it’s odd, the webcam has been relocated to the hinge, instead of the top-center of the display, as we usually see in traditional laptops.
