On October 19th, Lenovo unveiled its new lineup of Windows 10 devices during a new press event in San Francisco. The Chinese PC maker announced a new laptop and All-in-One desktop, both devices carrying the Yoga brand part of the new 900 series.
At the event, Microsoft made an appearance and unveiled that the company has worked closely with Lenovo to ensure the new products take advantage of the new features offered by Windows 10.
Lenovo introduced two new devices: the Yoga 900 Laptop and Yoga Home 900. Now, let’s have a first look at what these new Windows 10 devices have to offer.
Lenovo Yoga 900 Laptop
The new Yoga 900 Laptop is a convertible device, which looks identical to the Yoga 3 Pro, but at 2.8-pounds and 14.9mm thick, makes the laptop heavier and bulkier. However, it’s been designed that way to provide a bigger battery to offer better battery life.
The Yoga 900 Laptop sports a 13.3-inch QHD 3200 x 1800 IPS display, it runs the latest sixth-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 Skylake processor with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal SSD storage. The company also claims up to 9 hours of battery life for local video playback on a package that weighs under three pounds.
Just like previous versions, the new laptop features its unique watchband hinge, which has been improved, and it allows users to use the device in four different modes, including laptop, stand, tent, and tablet. In addition, the new Windows 10 device comes with Dolby DS1.0-certified JBL stereo speakers for a more immersive audio experience.
The Lenovo Yoga 900 will be available in the United States on October 19th, and it will be priced at $1,199 for the base model and in three colors: clementine orange, platinum silver, and champagne gold.

Lenovo Yoga Home 900 (All-in-One)
Lenovo is also introducing the Yoga Home 900, which is an improvement over the Horizon line, but it seems the company will use the popularity of the Yoga branding to drive more sales on its desktop lineup.
The Yoga Home 900 is semi-portable desktop with a battery that can last close to three hours. The new All-in-One desktop features a 27-inch 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution touch-enabled display with an NVIDIA GT940 with 2GB of RAM, there is also 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage.
Inside the device you would expected to be running an Intel Skylake processor, but for some reason Lenovo is using Intel’s Broadwell Core i5 and Core i7 processors instead.
The Yoga Home 900 comes with AURA 3.0 interface to easily get to your videos, photos, and more than 500 apps, which are also available through the Windows Store. Lenovo is aiming the device for home users, education, and for those users with the need of a large canvas.
The Yoga Home 900 will be available in United States at the end of October, and it will be priced at $1,549 for the base model.
Windows 10 has already hit over 110 million installs, making the most successful version of the operating system, and PC manufacturers more than ever are now coming up with new devices that really take advantage of all the new features of Windows 10, and Lenovo introducing the new Yoga 900 and Yoga Home 900 are just some of these examples.
