Moto X has been rumored for quite some time now. Many had said that it would be Motorola’s flagship device that would directly compete with the current smartphone giants like Samsung and HTC. Motorola has already confirmed that they are really working on this new smartphone.Though we were expecting a beast of a smartphone, the latest leaks from twitter user @evleaks suggest that Motorola X will have mid-level specifications. Most of the leaks from @evleaks have come out true in the past so we can hope this is what the soon to be released Motorola will pack. Here are the leaked specs of Motorola X:
- Android 4.2.2 Jellybean operating system
- 4.5 ” 720p, 1196X720 touchscreen display (IPS hopefully)
- 1.7 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 Pro processor
- RAM: 2GB
- Internal storage 16GB
- Camera: 10 Megapixel back and 2 Megapixel front.
- Release date: Moto X event on August 1, 2013
Larry Page had confirmed that the next line of Motorola phones would be waterproof and have unbreakable displays.
Earlier, X phone’s Antutu benchmarks appeared in a Japanese blog Rbmen which shows a score of 18,252. The device here identified as XT1055 is running on Android 4.2.2 and its processor is clocked at 1728 MHz which is similar to the latest @evleaks specs. However, during the time of the leak of this benchmark, X phone was expected to come with a quadcore Snapdargon 600 processor, now the latest specs suggest it’s actually a dual core.
UPDATED: Another photo of the alleged Motorola XT1056 has surfaced on the web. The photo was sent to PhoneArena by someone who took a snap of it during a product testing for Sprint USA’s 4G network. Here is the leaked picture:
UPDATE 2: Roger’s video of MOTO X has just leaked and the video shows some cool features. It looks like Google Now can now listen to you even when the screen is in sleep mode. The camera can be activated by twisting your wrist twice and you can click the picture my touching anywhere on the scree. Here is the video:
