Open the Alexa app on your mobile device and tap the Hamburger Menu icon in the top-left corner.
Tap Settings in the drop-down menu.
Scroll down and tap Alexa Privacy.
Tap Manage Your Alexa Data.
Tap Off next to Automatically delete recordings.
Choose how long you want Alexa to keep your recording, then tap Confirm.
Disabling this feature limits Alexa’s voice recognition capabilities.
