HTC One M9, which is widely known in the internet as HTC Hima (we are not so sure about it though, the two can be completely different models), has continuously leaked since a while. This phone is the successor of great HTC One M8, which is on the top list of the best phones of 2014.
According to the popular leaker of the gadgets, @upleaks of twitter, the HTC Hima is all set to launch very soon, but the recently leaks have indicated that it will miss the MWC 2015, but will probably be announced anytime after the event. He said that they will arrange their own special event for the launch of the handset, their 2015 flagship. The HTC Hima rumors also showed that it will have a 5″ Full HD display, 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset and a 20.7 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization. Other rumored specs include 3GB of RAM and 2840 mAh battery. The HTC Hima of course will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI over it. The most recent leaks also have revealed that this handset will be available in gray, silver and gold flavors, which is similar to its predecessor.
It seems that HTC is now ditching its Ultrapixels strategy from the HTC Hima, which was pretty necessary, as it was one of the worst points of its predecessors. The HTC One series phone were great indeed in other facts, and we hope the HTC One M9 will continue to keep the legacy. In the market, it will compete with the Samsung Galaxy S6,Sony Xperia Z4, Moto X 2014, Google Nexus 6, iPhone 6 and 6+, along with many other flagships. Nothing is confirmed though, till the official announcement of the smartphone which is expected in March 2015, but we will keep posting if any information is available about this handset.
