HTC has recently launched the Eye version of its much appreciated smartphone- the HTC One (M8 Eye)with a increased camera performance. The main advantages of this new edition smartphone over the original M8 is that it will have a primary camera of 13 Megapixels, which was 4 MP ultrapixels in the original edition. This will also have the Eye Experience suite and latest version of Android, but this is provided to the One M8 with an upgrade too.
To talk about the specs of the HTC One (M8 Eye), it features a 5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Super LCD3 capacitive display, which has a pixel density of 441 ppi and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the outer layer. The handset sports a sleek profile with dimensions 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm and weighs 157 grams, which is quite heavy but not much for the unibody design. The phone will have 16 or 32 GB of internal memory, with an option of expandable storage upto 128 GB via microSD card. It has 2 GB RAM, and for the processing power, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset complied with a Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 CPU, and an Adreno 330 GPU for gaming and graphics. For the photography and videography options, this smartphone will have a 13 MP dual primary camera with geo-tagging, dual tone dual LED Flash and touch autofocus, which can capture videos upto 1080p @ 60 fps, and a 5 MP secondary camera for video calls and selfies. The juice will be provided by a Non-removable Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery mAh battery, which is claimed to give a talktime of 22 hours and 24 minutes in 3G. For the connectivity options, there will be LTE support, microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and NFC. It will run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, which is obviously the latest version with the HTC Sense UI v6over it, and it is sure to get the major future upgrades, as HTC has already announced so for all the One series smartphones. The phone will be available in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold color options in the market.
The HTC One (M8 Eye) phone will most probably be available in India from the November, and is already in sale in China for ¥3,999 ($652). There is no signs of this phone to be released in other international markets.
