Next week, on May 20th, Microsoft is going host a new Surface event in New York City to unveil a smaller version of its Surface tablet and presumably Surface Pro 3 powered by Intel processor instead of an ARM CPU, which will power Surface mini.

While the company didn’t offer a live stream for the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 event, this year Microsoft decided that anyone can tune in to watch this new “small gathering” Surface event, which will stream live starting Tuesday, May 20th, at 11 a.m. Eastern time (8 a.m. Pacific) from New York City. The live stream will be hosted from the Microsoft News Center.

This should be an interested event to watch, Surface team leader, Panos Panay, will be the speaker and there is also a rumor circulating that Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s new CEO, will be making an appearance.

Pureinfotech will be attending the event and will be publishing news articles about the event with images and possible videos of the new Surface tablets.

Update: Here is the link to watch the Microsoft Surface event.
