How to Use Bumble Spotlight
A Bumble Spotlight costs two Bumble Coins to activate. You can buy Bumble Coins for $0.99 each. There’s a slight discount if you buy coins in bulk. Other users won’t know when you’ve purchased a Spotlight, but you should see stars at the top of your profile when the feature is enabled. Here’s how to use it:
Don’t confuse Spotlight with the Bumble Boost feature. Bumble Boost is a weekly or monthly subscription that makes your profile more visible, allows you to view people who swiped right on your profile, and lets you rematch with expired matches. It also adds an extra 24 hours to the time you have to send an introductory message, and you can add more detailed filters to find prospects that are specific to your tastes.
- Open Bumble and go to the Account tab.
- Tap Spotlight.
- If you don’t have coins, purchase some. You can pay with a credit card or use a mobile payment service like Google Wallet or Apple Pay. Choose how many you want to buy, then tap Continue.
- Once you have the coins you need, confirm your Spotlight purchase.
When Is the Best Time to Use Bumble Spotlight?
According to Bumble, the best time to use Spotlight is Sundays between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. This is supposedly when most people are on the app swiping.
Open Bumble and go to the Account tab.
